The Aim of this course is to teach you how to select the correct axe for the job, use it safely and give you the hands on experience to feel confident that you can do everything you want to do with an axe. The course is a practical course with full hands on experience. You'll learn to make woodland workshops, tools and cords using your axe. You'll also learn how to make charcoal. The logs that you split will be put into a charcoal clamp and 'cooked' overnight. The charcoal that you make will be yours to take home.
This is a hands on course. Your instructors are there, but you will be making the charcoal and not just watching someone else do it.
